    There's no telling how much of a residual effect taking steroids has, that's why. And for the Olympics, I don't think it should be allowed.

    Yeah. It doesn't have undoing effect and how can the organising body possibily preach and plea for fair competition in that case? And why lifted now and not years previous? It makes little sense because it also means previous competitors who might have taken steroids or some other kind of performancer enhance were denied their chance of competing in future Olympic competitions (as they won't be young enough to realistically qualify). I can understand why those 'wronged' athletes might contest it given it is a by-law set by an individual country and in lieu of that I wouldn't begrudge them competing in regular Athletic events if you like but for the Olympics, I think it should have a different burden of punishment, mainly because I still hold with high regard.

    It won't happen though, universally, it just causes too many issues.
