Vigil was quite good fun to watch.
Each episode got more and more outrageous in terms of plot lines but highly addictive

The Wilds
Good little show about some girls stranded on an island. All a bit mysterious at first and could have gone full "Lost" but this one actually reveals what's going on quite quickly. There are some good twists and the end implies a second series is on the cards. Would recommend.
[EDIT: It's on Amazon Prime]
Line of Duty
Gother of Mod! Finally made it through all the series.
Very good.
Actually thought the end was ok, although I managed my expectations as I’d heard people grumbling about it at the time.
I'd not heard of Vigil but had a few people mention it when I've said we watched LoD.
Will have a look.
I thought Vigil was a bit crap tbh. Just seemed to tick all the boxes of moody drama, plus Arnott was only in it for about 5 seconds.
Thought the ending fizzled out just like LoD as well, kinda obvious who would end up being good and who it was given they cut to their shifty eyes every 5 seconds.... Oh wait it was all about the adoption.... Meh.
The only shocking part about it was that Young Morse is Scouse
Well he actually is from Liverpool so I'm guessing the accent was authentic, though it wasn't particularly pronounced. And it definitely wasn't full scally ketwig Scouse either, which is obviously a plus.
No idea where you were hearing Manc thigug
