It's not the same injuries he's getting is it? Ankle, cruciate, little thigh. All you could attribute to Diaby at some point. I feel really sorry for him as he's simply the most fragile player in the world. Any hard work he might have done to combat that - and he has, going by the reports - is just pissing in the wind. Now you'll have the nine months out, return to full training and then have the standard 'Diaby' injuries after that. I think he's one of our longest serving players. And he's one of those that Wenger really wanted to persist with to see him fulfill his potential, else he'd be long gone. Signed a contract in the middle of his best season in terms of appearances but barely seen since. Just sad for him tbh.

Lost my patience with this fuck. he was unlucky with his original injury for us, but he ahs been rewarded hansomely for not playing, and has seen our team suffer from the manager keeping a place warm in midfield. He's over - can we buy a player now, please?

There is an element of noticing the injuries of your own players more, but that is only an element...I can't think of a team that would not have been shot of players like Diaby years ago.
The truth is that Wenger is supportive of his players to the point of weakening his team. Loyalty yes - but any successful manager needs to be ruthless. Wenger favours certain player who are immune from this - and is happy to risk the success for his favourites. One of the ways he's weakened us.
