I think the winter fuel payments thing is just a bad move politics-wise, they try to blame the Tories but no-one's buying it

That said it's older people mainly voted leave which badly damaged the economy so maybe it's poetic justice.

In general I think society has to sensible about such benefits, it's like the two-child benefit policy, i totally support that, having one or two kids is arguably a right of some kind, but more is a lifestyle choice (IMO)

I generally go into the office on average of twice a month, And today was speaking with one of my work colleagues who has EIGHT kids. EIGHT!!…woman isn’t even 40 and her eldest is 17. So basically since her early twenties she’s been a one woman baby making factory.

Dont know how the fuck she affords it frankly. She was talking about Christmas and I said to her “have you ever been tempted, to pretend that when one of your kids misbehaves to blow it out of proportion and say that’s it no Christmas presents for you!!…just to save yourself a few quid”. Some of those pensioners are bloody millionaires, they don't need extra benefits!
The only debate for me is where the line is. And some of the things I've heard make me think it is too low and they are removing the benefit from some people who do actually need it.
