It was 0-0 when I went to bed (I’m in Hong Kong now, the second and final leg of my work trip).
I couldn’t be arsed staying up to see the final scores and I’m glad I didn’t now

Burnley 0-1 Bournemouth, Kluivert with it. HT there, or soon will be.

I can’t remember there ever being more inept promoted teams than these three. Burnley looked ok when they played us but just nothing by way of firepower or ability to prevent goals

Luton if nothing else have been entertaining I guess

The last time all three promoted teams went straight back down was when we won the double in 98. Barnsley, Palace and Bolton. All three had more about them. Sheffield United well we know they’ve got financial troubles, Luton and Burnley don’t have a pot to piss in either. If Ipswich who managed to claw their way back into second, come up I can see it being the same story for them. In fact I see this being the start of a broadening trend where unless a championship side has a rich benefactor like Fulham or Forest, they won’t be able to lay a glove on the rest of the league

In some ways you have to attribute this to FFP, in the way that it has solidified the financial disparity between clubs, when its intention was to level the playing field

Not only that but the same three could be coming straight back up again.

I like Luton though, they give everything in every game.

Burnley and Sheffield United have been appalling.
