Some people as usual make ridiculous comments without even knowing the player and I bet they have never seen him play . Kim is actually a decent player with bags of experience . He has a nice shot , hard tackles and can read the game well .
To be fair , Wenger tried to sign some other players notably : Blaise Matuidi from PSG , Vucinic from Juve , Cisse from Newcastle , Klose, Julian Draxler from Schalke ..etc but it didn't work out .
Even the mighty Monaco ,who has unlimited funds for the transfer, couldn't find a player to replace the injured Falcao . They went for the ageing Berbatov .
Man United got Mata because they paid excessive money and Chelsea did not want him and could not have turn down such an amount .

I don't deny Mata is a good player . But if 37millions was a good price that could surely have triggered a bidding war and Man U could have been easily outbid by the likes of Monaco , PSG and the Russian teams .
