As above, Lewandowski will be shown up for how average he is at Bayern. Wouldn't of minded him here, but he isn't that much of an upgrade on Giroud.
Mandzukic is a far better player compared to him.

Daily report on astoundingly poor journalism. Today is a case of picking the players who had a bad game last week and then copy/pasting the column inches:

Craig "no" Hope.

And here's more from Martin Samuel, high point is his nervous breakdown at the beginning of the article where he twists like the Mamas and the Papas trying to avoid being pelted with the inconvenient facts. Arsenal remain top, the chavs are now batting 100% against victim club city. Then he settles down to slaughtering the chavs for all their financial misdeeds while condoning the gypo's for doing even worse. Apparently having two big money bags club is good for football, whereas having only the one is a vicious plot by Platini.

This fat bastard is a laughing stock.

He picked Sir Ches ???
Ches has had the most clean sheets this season , and has made some saves which have been world-class. His only real brainfart came against Newcastle, which was a fair bit ago now.
I guess we must really be doing OK, if Szcz is the only player they could pick out as a weak link? Oh well, long may the lazy analysis and out-of-date assumptions about our team continue!
Craig Hope is back, and he's found a way to get city to the top of the table. This masterpiece could also be used by Martin Samuel to prove his pointlessness.

Is he suggesting being able to spend close to or over half a billion on transfers might help in winning a trophy? Including Man City and Chelsea as one entity stretches the point a bit though I would say.
Craig Hope for the Best.
I know, what an eye-opener, right? I mean who would have thought that spending close to a three quarters of a billion pounds on players would drastically improve your side's chances of winning trophies AND that that would make you happier as a fan?
Hey, maybe it's not just football clubs? Maybe incredibly rich people in general are happier than the poor? Wouldn't that be something?
