Thinking of getting it to keep me occupied over Christmas. Last edition I bought was 2009 but I understand it's all gone a bit complex and mental now.

Also, I'm really tempted to pre-order the Wii U.

I played the demo for a bit. Didn't like it at all. You're right about it being way too complex, though there is this 'Classic mode' which is apparently less so. But yeah, wouldn't buy it.
