Tbf Wenger's not wrong. Merson calling someone else clueless?
Yes Paul, you're obviously qualified enough to spout out shit like that from your extensive experience of managing at the top level.

Clough's legacy hasn't been destroyed though, has it? He'll always be remembered as one of the game's most colourful characters and the guy who took Nottingham Forest to the pinnacle of the club game - twice. Yep, there's other shit that's not so impressive, but nobody can take his achievements away from him. They are in the record books. Real achievements too - not Buy It Now stuff like a chav or a gypo would harp on about.
Wenger's legacy as the guy who presided over the most entertaining brand of football ever seen (in any league) is safe too.

Wenger can't really complain if pundits, whose job it is to create and then feed off controversy and hype, open their gobs and spout shit. If he really didn't care then he'd leave it well alone. Merse won't be "bitter" though, not sure where Wenger gets that from. Frustrated, pissed off, like the rest of us, but not bitter. Not like that other guy, that nobody - can't remember his name, the one who is always trashing Arsenal. He's gone a bit quiet lately. It's a laugh listening to him. It's a laugh listening to Merson too. These things need to be taken in the spirit they are intended, comedy.
