    10.44 Arsenal want Mikel Arteta and would be willing to pay 10 million euros for the Spaniard, say AS.
    Links with Arteta increasing.

    Then again they happen every year.

    Bad Times
    As long as we replace those who have gone and add a few this will probably be our best summer in terms of transfers in the last 6-7 years. Would like us to buy an LB too (Baines would be perfect) but can't see that happening.

    Gervinho for Nasri, M'Vila for Fabregas (with a change in style of play ofc), Cahill for Squillaci and a decent striker (hopefully Sow) would definitely boost the squad.

    We've got Oxlade-Chamberlain, Campbell and Miyaichi as impact players who I think can make a difference (more than Chamakh / Vela at least) and the emergence of Frimpong and Jenkinson as solid players hopefully keeps.

    =========M'Vila========Wilshere==============

    Walcott===========================Gervinho===

    With just 3 more signings, that looks a strong starting XI. Moreover, we'll have Koscielny, Djourou, Ramsey, Chamberlain, Campbell, Rosicky, Diaby, Frimpong, Jenkinson to rely on from the bench, which isn't ideal but isn't as bad as it could be. If we get another striker as well, then the squad looks quite good on the whole.

    I really don't see why Wenger doesn't sign the 3 players I've listed. We've got A LOT of money from the sales of Cesc and Nasri, and even if Everton and Bolton are asking for a lot of money, now is not the time for penny pinching, especially with the window about to close and with us having such a transfer surplus this summer. We should swallow our pride, overpay for the two players and get a squad capable of competing with the best this season.

    Arteta is shit tbh and injury prone.

    I still reckon our midfield targets are gonna be M'vila and Hazard.
