    Wrong chick but

Also, saw 50/50, with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen in it. Really good film, funny but really touching in places. If you've lost someone to cancer then this resonates quite a bit.

Super 8 was decent tbh. Impressive standard of acting, considering they were predominantly kids.

    Hugo was generally very good.

Strange subject matter for what seems to be intended as a children's film and it loses focus at times, but a mostly successful mix of genres and themes. It looks great, the performances (apart from Sacha Baron Cohen who seems like he's stepped out from an episode of ZZZap!) are good and it builds up to something memorable.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows was surprisingly actually better than the first one. If you take it as a silly, lighthearted version of the stories, it's probably one of the best recent big-budget blockbusters.

Thought the first SH was shite. It'll be a hot day in Greenland before I watch the second.
