Seems to me they only kept him because they won the Cup. Which was a pretty stupid decision given they were a VAR call away from a humiliating semi-final exit against Coventry, having been 3-0 up

Whilst I think ETH is a poor manager, surely the problem is recruitment. So many of the players in that United side are below par.

The problem is structurally, they're a mess on the pitch.

They can keep signing players every summer, winning every transfer window but until that changes they're lost.
