To be honest i was quite surprised the first test was as close as it was, this is about par for what you'd expect given the overall difference in quality between the two sides. I know people love to predict the death of test match cricket but i don't see it, 20/20 for me is a gimmick pure and simple and whilst entertaining cannot replace the chess match tension of Test Cricket. Just because we are not seeing it in this particular Ashes series doesn't mean it's not there.
