With someone like Bowie though, there's just so much material out there (and outside of music too) that it feels like his impact and influence will be even greater in the years to come as the work is rediscovered and re-evaluated. There's probably hundreds of hours of unreleased stuff that will see the light too.

There's a few artists that always felt like they were from another world and while it's weird that they're gone, their work is so transcendent that it will always soundtrack your life.
