question on adding an image

Hi i've looked in the FAQs etc but can't find an answer to this:

if i want to put an image in a post but it's from my PC not a URL, how do i do that?

or if i need to upload it somewherre - where's best?

Upload it to imgur.com

You could use an image hosting site like GP suggests. Alternatively, above the editor where you type your post there’s a row of icons, third one from the right is a little picture of a tree, that should let you upload one.

(By “one” I mean an image, not a tree)

the tree symbol just gives an option to "Add an Image from Url" but nothing about uploading one

There should be a "From Computer" option, there are two tabs.
