Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis insists he will do everything he can to keep Manchester City and Arsenal target Edinson Cavani - but admits interested clubs can have him for £54m.
The Uruguay international, 25, has struck 67 goals in 90 league appearances since moving to Naples from Palermo in 2010.
As such he is regarded as one of the most feared forwards in Europe, with a string of suitors monitoring his availability.
De Laurentiis says he has already rejected two big-money offers for the striker and revealed that the player himself is keen to stay at the Stadio San Paolo.
"I am ready to do everything to retain Cavani at Napoli," he told Corriere dello Sport.
"It's not just about money to keep him here - he believes in our project, that's what really matters.
"We have rejected an offer of £47m, which wasn't from Real Madrid, whose bid was less than £43m.
"His clause is £54m and interested clubs know that."
