    Champions League 24/25

Young Boys 0-3 Aston Villa, Tielemans, Ramsey and Onana.

    Quite a strike from Onana.

So was Duran's actually but that was dislallowed for handball earlier in the move.

Is it me, or did it used to be that the only Champions League game that kicked off early was when it was at the arse end of Europe with a +3 or + 4 hour time difference from GMT.

The good thing about the group stages is that you used to have eight different matches kicking off at once, and you could swap around and watch different games.

I’ll be honest, I’ve kind of changed my mind about the new format…it’s got potential. But UEFA will do its upmost to ruin it

No and yes. Yes in that still happens but no as in it iisn'tjust those games at 17:45.

Also I suppose yes in the sense that the above only happened in the last few years.

Before that, it was only the far afield games.
