Xmas similes and names?
Here's a Christmas simile for you:
We're at home on Christmas day as dad would be on his own otherwise.
We'll probably take him home after the Queen's Speech though and head up to the in-laws in MK.
Boxing day we have to go and see MrsL's granny in Mansfield ()
27th we might head to Clacton to see my mum and sister and some of that side of the family.
Not sure after that. My last day at work this year is the 19th
We should make some plans though as MrsL and me discovered last year that too many days of us sitting around doing nothing gives us both cabin fever and we start getting ratty with each other
Nothing much planned.
In Melbourne from December 15 to 23, then off down the Great Ocean Road to Apollo Bay until the New Year.
If you don’t send this signature to ten people, you will become a Spurs fan.
I'm the designated parent as mrs is working and needed to use up leave (they do calender rather than financial year). I'm cook for Christmas. Footie with one of the kids Friday, Cats show at w/end, a panto, er think that's it, oh and round to sis in laws place nye.

Society is now one polished horde
Formed by two mighty tribes, the bores and the bored.
"After all, it was the Gunners’ goalkeeper who started the move that culminated in Thomas’ crowning glory. It was Lukic who, in injury time, decided to throw the ball out to Lee Dixon rather than lump it long..."
Do you mean the show 'Cats'? The musical?
Spending Christmas at my mums breakfast then off to the social club for a few *cough* beers back for dinner and a few more *cough* beers
