Waited 14 long years for this.
Feels weird being considered favourites against one of the elite clubs but Bayern have been pretty bad this year so I guess it’s fair game. Though you could argue they will possibly be more dangerous knowing this is all they’re playing for now.
I think we really need to go for this and try and win it well, we will be kicking ourselves if we don’t. No away fans either so this is really set up for us to get it done here.
Let’s hope complacency doesn’t set in, this Bayern side are capable of punishing us despite their own miserable form.
Whilst I’m not as obsessed about Zinchenko as some people, it’s certainly not a good idea to start him tomorrow. That should be Kiwior or Tomiyasu. Jesus needs to be dropped in favour of Martinelli.
If Partey wasn’t so rusty I’d suggest starting him over Jorginho, Jorginho can still be pressed into making mistakes (although in fairness he faired well despite this against Brighton so maybe I’m being unfair)
Havertz? On one hand his form deserves a start on the other hand, do some of his international team mates know how to put him off his stride?

I still don’t trust Arteta not to botch things for us, I still regard him as the biggest impediment to challenging for top honours. Again that could be my problem, he has I would say handled the last six-seven matches quite deftly. But trust has to be earned and we do have a habit of screwing things up under him.

It's pretty much our best 11 atm, Trossard is a very good player but works well to bring off the bench

Take K**t out of the equation and I'd be reasonably hopeful we could overcome them, but we know he will get a dodgy pel and generally cheat his way through the game, we need Gabriel and Saliba to be at their very best, plus pray the ref isn't a total mug (yes, I know, some hope...)
We now appear to have every single player available to us. With Timber taking part in first team training. Doubtless he will not be part of the matchday squad tonight, but it’s possible he may have some part in the forthcoming league fixtures from the bench
That really is good news, to have him available in the coming weeks would be a real boost
I hope we win, tbh.
