While it is a small change, the newly announced pre-season tour to Malaysia and China could be a significant change in the long-term operations. It might also signal a change in Wenger's status within the club hierarchy. Previously, Wenger has rejected any calls for a pre-season tour in favour of his low key Austrian escapade.

Yes, it is money spinning but it is something that has not been done before; that is my point. Until this point, Wenger has been able to dictate the pre-season events. It would appear that this has changed. Now, this might be the only thing that changes, or it might be the first in many changes (all positive hopefully).
