what are your views on this? she was found innocent of the murder for which she and her ex boyfriend were convicted of along with someone else who is still serving his sentance and not been aquited while knox and her ex have been freed.
the whole thing with this trial never added up for me, the dna was dodgy and the prosecution just had a story that they came up with as to what happened with no real evidence to support it. i always thought she was innocent since day one as the dna which supposdly put her at the scene of the crime was actually never there and the police etc too ages to bag it up and it was all contaminated.
also with this aquittal people are saying its unfair with all the publicity around it that the real victim in all this, meredith krecher has been forgotten because of the knox pr campaign is true to an extent but i dont buy into it completely as knox has been found innocent, if she was not allowed to appeal etc she could have had 26 years of her life taken away from her for something she never did, she already has had 4 years taken away from her for something she didnt do. yes merediths parents and family lost their daughter forever to a cruel murder which is heartbreaking and horrific but the two people now found innocent families lost their son and daughter for 4 years

I don't know whether or not she was involved. No one is ever likely to know for sure, and this is largely down to the negligence of the police. The police contaminated all the forensic evidence so any conviction based on this has to be regarded to be at best, unsafe.
Also, the police seemed to have arrived at a theory over what happened, and who did it really early on in their so-called 'investigation' and stuck with this theory throughout. Any evidence that did not align with their theory was illogically manipulated or discarded altogether. Not entirely unlike Zim arguing on a football messageboard.
