Les Gunners ont d’ailleurs encore montré des signes de fébrilité en défense en tout début de match. Et Robin van Persie a failli joué un bien mauvais tour à ses anciens partenaires (2e et 18e). Mais l’attaquant néerlandais n’est pas franchement au sommet de sa forme, c’est un euphémisme. A la 79e, sur une tête de RVP, il a quand même fallu une bonne détente de Szczesny pour repousser le ballon sur la transversale. Mais Arsenal, même sans un Ozil au top, a également eu quelques temps forts. Giroud s’est bien démené sur le front de l’attaque mais il a été trop court sur un centre de Sagna (77e). Et ni Koscielny (62e) ni Cazorla (90e) n’ont eu plus de réussite.
