Shame.
Sad to see anyone who loves what they do forced to stop doing it. He wasn’t making any inroads with his comeback so this isn’t too much of a surprise. At least he bows out with an amazing record and has set up his family and their children for life.
Probably be another 70 odd years before Britain has a player as good as him again.
Always sucks when successful athletes don't go out on their own terms.

It'll be his 100th ATP title if the Old Man wins.
He however faces Tsitsipas who dumped him out of the Australian Open.
